May 8th, 2020 was the 5 year anniversary of Creating the Difference. It was also the day CtD signed a contract to acquire the former Ebonite International Testing facility in Hopkinsville Kentucky. Over the past 5 years, CtD has grown to a staff with almost 3000 members around the world. CEO Ronald Hickland said, “The primary goal of Creating the Difference has been to educate bowlers of all skill levels. This acquisition allows us the opportunity to enhance our ability to do that with a world class educational facility. In addition, we will be able to offer bowling ball reviews and bowler improvement videos to the entire bowling community via YouTube. We are grateful for everyone who has helped us reach this point and we are excited to use this facility to help grow bowling." The Education Center has four lanes with two different lane surfaces, a conference room, training area, and a complete Pro Shop. It will feature a library of interactive educational topics that cover all aspects of the physical and mental game as well as lane play, bowling ball motion, surface and pro shop training. This facility will offer some new technology aimed at tracking bowler improvement. As an added bonus, anyone who has been on National Staff with CtD for a minimum of three months can schedule to use the facility for free. The facility is also available to CtD Regional Staff members at a reduced rate from the fee charged to the general public. The Education Center will be fully staffed and supported by USBC Certified Coaches, Ball Motion Experts and Pro Shop Technicians. It features common training tools used in the industry like Kegel Torch, Specto, Eileen's Bowling Buddy, Blueprint, and Bowler ID. It also has a state of the art Kegel Flex Lane Machine.  There are plans to add the Clutch Bowling Coaching System later this summer. This will ensure a truly unique experience; giving the bowler the total package for improvement including proper equipment selection and surface preparation. CtD will begin taking reservations with priority given to its staff group next week. General reservations will be available on the website ctdbowling.com within a couple of weeks. CtD offers a free to join Regional Staff program for bowlers of all levels. There is a private, kid-friendly, educational Facebook group where members interact and can learn about any bowling related topic. Members can also receive free video coaching from USBC Certified coaches.  The CtD National Staff option includes unique products, monthly deliveries as well as the free training sessions at the Education Center already mentioned.
