Creating the Difference has signed EJ Tackett to a professional contract through the end of 2020.
EJ Tackett and Ronald Hickland have a long friendship together going back to when their father's bowled together at tournaments around the state of Indiana. The two have remained good friends and have a shared opportunity to grow bowling - EJ through being a highly successful bowler on the PBA Tour and Ronald with the bowling education company Creating the Difference. Ronald Hickland said, “With us signing a 3 year deal with the PBA Tour, we wanted to invest in some players who share the same passion about the game that we have. I have followed EJ's career since the beginning. It's been fun to watch him become the star player he is today. When the opportunity became available to bring him on board with CtD, I thought it was a win/win opportunity for both of us”.
EJ said, “I remember when CtD was just starting out. It’s admirable to see them grow and partner with the PBA. Ron and I share a lot of things in common. After talking with him and understanding what CtD is doing to grow bowling, I knew it was a great fit for me. I look forward to using the TruCut sanding pads and the rest of the CtD product line on Tour.”
